Ready to Serve?

The Christian Ministries Department is designed to help young people who seek to serve the Lord in a variety of church ministries. Ever called upon to run a summer VBS program? Maybe you were asked to jump in to teach a Sunday school class? Are you equipped to disciple or counsel a person struggling to know and do God’s will? These are just a sample of the many ways that a degree in Christian ministries will help prepare you for Christian service. Our faculty will encourage you to discern God’s specific life-calling and encourage you to take advantage of each opportunity that God has given you. Practical experience accompanied by a strong academic foundation will give students the necessary skills to reach the world for Christ.

Christian Ministry Programs

Youth Ministry

The youth ministry program of study helps to prepare you to be an effective leader in Christian Youth ministry. Our training philosophy involves you in serving so that you can participate and apply knowledge and skills while you are learning. The classes and practical training offered at NEBC will help to prepare you to serve in a variety of areas including: Sunday School, Youth Choir, Bus Ministry and Vacation Bible School. The goal behind this course of study is to equip you with practical wisdom so that you can lead and disciple the next generation.

Music Ministry

Our music program will help you build the individual skills necessary for a lifetime of service through music. Our faculty has a heart to help you advance your skills and pursue excellence in practical areas of study including music theory, arranging music, history of music, and Church music administration. NEBC students have the option of taking private lessons, singing in the college choir, or auditioning for the traveling college ensemble.
