What a vital aspect of ministry is given to those who serve in music ministry. Our music program will help you build the individual skills necessary for a lifetime of service through music. Our faculty has a heart to help you advance your skills and pursue excellence in practical areas of study including music theory, arranging music, history of music, and Church music administration. NEBC students have the option of taking private lessons, singing in the college choir, or auditioning for the traveling college ensemble. The music standard of NEBC is highly conservative while at the same time maintaining a focus on a practical, evangelistic style, that can be used in Christian service today!

How Can your Serve in the area of Music?



PIANIST

Pianists and encouraged to take their skills to the next level by developing an evangelistic style of hymn-playing. Whether you are an intermediate or advanced pianist or vocalist, our music faculty will challenge you to refine and improve your abilities, so that you can serve and help others make melody in their hearts unto the Lord!



SONG-LEADER

Each student at NEBC is given foundational training that will help them lead music effectively. Whether you’re leading a congregation, directing a childrens choir or training your teens to sing, the music courses at NEBC seek to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to serve the Lord in this area of ministry.



CHOIR

Students at New England Baptist College regularly have the opportunity to sing in our college choir, participate in college Handbells and minister during our weekly chapel services. Additionally, many of our students are able to serve local churches by singing or playing for revival services and missions conferences.
